This painting has had rave reviews by all who have seen it. All the children in it are real- from the streets, cemetaries, under the bridges and the trashpiles of Metro Manila. Joey found the children and enticed them to pose for his painting by offering them a simple pancit (noodles) meal. Later he went back to find these children, doing a video documentary (see It Here ) and writing his book, "They Have Jesus" (available below).
